As part of the two-project blog series about our unique renovation project of a two-story house in the Tropics 4 by Filinvest in Cainta, Rizal, this article is about the modern farmhouse concept we did for the house's interior. This very appealing design concept was seamlessly combined with an industrial hint in one of the significant areas of the house.
The project showcases a beautiful modern farmhouse concept with a touch of industrial design in the kitchen. The result is a harmonious blend of modern simplicity and contemporary aesthetics, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the entire space.
The Modern Farmhouse Concept
The modern farmhouse design concept has gained immense popularity in recent years, combining the timeless appeal of traditional farmhouse elements with modern sensibilities. This design style emphasizes comfort, simplicity, and natural materials, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance.
Living Room and Dining Area
Upon entering the house, one is greeted by a spacious living room that exudes a rustic charm. The walls are adorned with feature vertical paneling, adding texture and character to the space. The furniture features clean lines and neutral tones, perfectly balancing modern and farmhouse aesthetics.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
